TEFAF New York Spring 2017

TEFAF New York Spring 2017

The long-standing collaboration between TEFAF and Tom Postma Design started a new chapter last year with the arrival of two new art fairs in New York.

Wednesday 3 May, the very first edition of TEFAF New York Spring 2017 opened its door to art-loving visitors.

The startling transformation of the historic Park Avenue Armory from dark to light, created by Tom Postma Design for TEFAF New York Fall 2016 through the construction of a second skin, provides the perfect backdrop for TEFAF’s modern and contemporary art fair.

The spatial design for the inaugural TEFAF New York Spring exudes modern architecture. By means of architectural adaptations in the design created for TEFAF New York Fall concerning façade, freeze, colour scheme, flooring and lighting, Tom Postma Design has been able to create a modern look and feel that is in line with the unique and high quality TEFAF atmosphere.

The abundance of original Dutch tulips bursting out of their hanging constructions adds to the modern character of the design concept.

TEFAF New York Spring took place at the Park Avenue Armory in New York from 4 - 8 May 2017.
